Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Shop assistant at John M Hanna Cycles Lisburn.

The role will be full time to 40 hours per week

Shop assistant roles include but are not limited to

• - Customer service: Answering customer questions, providing product knowledge, and helping customers find what they're looking for 
• - Stocking shelves: Receiving, unpacking, and arranging deliveries items.
• - Maintaining the store: Keeping the store clean and tidy, and ensuring cleanliness 
• - Performing other administrative duties. E.g. maintaining the web shop and social media.
• - Some small repair jobs eg Puncture

Skills/Experience Required

Our ideal candidate can show the following qualities;

• - Cytech Level 2 or other proven equivalent
• - Good technical knowledge of bikes, accessories and cycling in general.
• - Computer literate 
• - Excellent literacy and communication skills - face to face / on the phone/ emails etc.
• - Personable & approachable.
• - Self motivated & proactive, happy to work alone and as part of a team.
• - Strong attention to detail.
• - Good organisational and time keeping skills.
• - Flexibility to adapt to varied tasks where necessary.
