The business was originally started by the late Gerard Hanna as a Cycle & Wireless Agent in the Late 40's when cycles were the main form of commuting and wireless batteries were of the wet type and had to be taken to a Wireless Agent to be charged.

In those days Bicycles were "Parked" by customers while they went shopping etc. indeed there still exists an original sign on the store wall " CYCLES STORED 2d per day " The shop didn't close on Saturday nights until after 11pm to accommodate "Parkers" who had went to the flea pit (picture house) or the pub (talk about long hours!).  Wireless or radio's as they are now called having been dropped in the 60's the business  became more cycle orientated.

 In 1972 the business was taken over by John Hanna  who is now assisted by his wife Janet. John added Key Cutting to the business in 1972. In1981 adjoining property was acquired and a new shop & showroom area was created with three times the frontage. 1988 seen the addition of Car Accessories while 1994 seen the launch of a wholesale/distribution division to the business.

To-Day see's third generation Christopher helping out on a part time basis  & Gavin  joining John & Janet in the business on a full time basis complimented by a strong staff team.
